disorders.
- Conducted original research in rehabilitation
of top level athletes, performance enhancement,
and over-training syndrome prevention using
no-doping medications and special rehabilitation
techniques.
- Author of multiple publications and presentations
in Europe and USA.
- Maintains an academic appointment and completed
numerous visiting professorships in many distinguished
universities worldwide.
- Professional athlete, competing in the Russian
Olympic Team gymnastics. Upon completion of
medical school in 1981, invited to join the
Eastern European Olympic Committee Medical Commission.
Being a physician and scientist, provided medical
services and rehabilitation for top level athletes
and Olympic team members.
- Completed a Ph.D. in Sports Medicine and
Rehabilitation in 1989 and was invited to lead
the Medical Commission of the Israeli Olympic
Committee. Head of the Commission from 1993
through 1997, responsible for the preparation
of Israeli, Turkish, and Eastern European (through
UNESCO collaboration) athletes to the 1996 Olympic
Games in Atlanta.
- Since 1997, worked in Canada and USA as a
physiatrist (specialist in physical medicine
and rehabilitation) continuing medical practice
and academic activities in Sports Medicine and
integrative physical medicine.
- 18 years of practice in physical medicine
